Rachael Finley - Consultant
Rachael Finley is a logical, methodical communications professional skilled in crisis communication, media relations and social media strategy. Rachael joined the Crisis Shield team in 2012 while completing her Master of Communication at Victoria University. Her master’s thesis, focusing on crisis management during the Essendon Football Club’s 2013 supplements crisis, received significant media attention and cemented her interest in crisis communication.
In 2014, family reasons brought Rachael to Brisbane where she serves as media and communications advisor for the Australian Medical Association Queensland. As the first point of contact for the media, Rachael is responsible for arranging proactive and reactive media opportunities to ensure the association is clearly communicating their campaigns, policies and public health messages.
